The wildriver of Munich

Munich has a lot to offer in the summer. I love to spend my free time at sunny days at the "Flaucher". It is a stretch of the river Isar in the south of Munich, which still has the character of a wild river. When the weather is fine, it is great there to go for a walk, lie in the sun, take a bath in the refreshing water of the Isar or simply spend the day at one of the many beer gardens with good Bavarian cuisine.

You get there from the city center with the metro U3 direction "Fürstenried West" and leave the train at "Thalkirchen" station. From there it is only several walking minutes over the big bridge towards "Tierpark Hellabrunn". The "Flaucher" stretches out on both sides of the bridge. My advice: get a cold "The Crew" beer, which is produced in Munich, from the 24 | 7 Corner of Rilano 24|7 Hotel München City, and enjoy it while you let your feet dangle in the refreshing "Isar".

Zoological garden of Munich

Since my little girl, like every child, loves animals, we spend a lot of time at "Hellabrunn" zoo. There you can admire and gaze 752 different species with a total of 19,000 animals. Every day the "Flipper Show" of the sea lions and seals takes place at 11.30 am and 02.30 pm - a highlight for every child! Afterwards a visit at the pet's corner and the adventure playground and the day was a great success for us! You can reach the zoo with the metro U3 direction "Fürstenried West" and get off at "Thalkirchen" station. From there, it is just a short walk.

about the best Gyros of Munich

Since I do not come from a big city, I love nature and spend as much time as possible in the countryside. I prefer to buy the best Gyros in town from "Ionion" at Augustenstr. 90 and walk to the "English Garden". In winter as well as in summer, it is very nice taking an afternoon walk across the meadows to "Monopteros", from where one has a great view at the old town of Munich.
If you prefer to have it quiet, you can relax and enjoy the meadows in the northern part of the garden. In the southern part of the English Garden, it is more lively and there are great beer gardens and of course the famous "Eisbachsurfer". Next to "Haus der Kunst" young and old surfers can surf on a wave in the Eisbach throughout the day. That is a perfect ending to a great day out in the green!

about scene gastronomy and gift shops

"Glockenbach"on the corner of Müllerstr. 49 can not to be missed! My cocktail proposal is "Moscow Mule Special".

You will find the best cappuccino of Schwabing at Sobi in "SobiCocoa" located in Georgenstr. 48: this is a recommendation of a friend who lives in Schwabing for 11 years.

You can find unusual gifts and souvenirs at "Weißglut Concept Store" in Schwabing, very close to "Münchner Freiheit", my shelter for birthdays, Christmas etc!
